Esther

There is beauty here

In amber eyes and sensuous lips.

A sparkle of a deep rich gem

Encapsulated by a radiant face.

Her hair in myriad shades flow,

Gossamer tendrils long cascade,

A soft cocoon down wrapped,

Brings texture and life.

There is a vibrancy in her voice.

Sweet the sound of lilting phrase,

A cadence of each breath escapes

To fall upon the ear with light appeal.

She walks, her step well formed,

Her limbs in graceful flow,

Draws with her the wind,

To kiss and define a path.

There is beauty here,

Named by so many in verse past,

Praised and cherished, a girl delights,

Is sweetness called, Esther.
