CALVARY

This is my Calvary; This cross I bear.

The price is silence; Broken!

Reach out! Shout! Strain to hear

The voice muted; Unspoken!

Is this a wall before my eyes?

To strain the vision further;

Stretch; Rise up; Climb high;

For sight and shadow merger.

The very soul now bare;

A bridge to understanding;

In fellowship to search; There;

For strength and comprehending.

Each nail driven into the skin;

A drop of blood; A wound, to bleed;

Pictures; Silent words; To drain; To cling;

Unpricked stand; no longer feared.

Free the spirit; released!

Go forth and respond;

Facing all those who see

A path once blocked; Beyond.

What care, or concern?

Whose lead has brought us?

When trust we discern;

To place ourselves in openness!
